As a singer/songwriter/producer I am constantly exploring different styles of music and varied topics.
The following songs are my newest releases for 2008.

"That's America Today" addresses some of the absurdities that seem so prevalent in this country.

“Wake Up!” is a call on the silent majority most of whom have become so disillusioned with America that they have all but given up.

“Workin’ Man” is dedicated to the men and women who are now referred to as the “Greatest Generation” because of the united effort put forth during WWII and the tremendous prosperity they worked to create that now seems to be a distant memory.

"The Din You're Livin' In" deals with the frustrations of trying to be heard in a world where everyone's talking and no one seems to be listening.

Thanks for listening and for your support.

"None of us will ever accomplish anything excellent or commanding
except when he listens to this whisper which is heard by him alone. "
Ralph Waldo Emerson

"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open."
Martha Graham

"Be yourself because no one else will be you "

Original Songs

That’s America Today

(Words and Music by Randy Lotz)

Grindin’ out a job they hate
buying things to compensate
back seat ridin’ never drivin’,
blaming others always whining
That’s America today

Vote for him ‘cause he’s black
don’t worry about the skills he lacks
A reputation of bein’ shady
elect her now she’s a lady
That’s America today

Dummy down the kids at school
being a thug is oh so cool
The word police come down on you
If you voice your point of view
That’s America today

Killin’ off the middle class
illegal immigrants cut your grass
layin’ down at the borders
there’s no need for social order
That’s America today

Workin’ parents can’t keep up
retiring soon, got enough?
Jack up the cards never savin’
no need to worry the kids are payin’
That’s America today

Older folks turn down the heat
cutting’ back on what they eat
this silent majority of the human race
want to live with dignity die in grace
That’s America today

(Bridge)
Who do we turn to get out of this
What can we do?
Where we’re headed is anyone’s guess
and you never feel the pain unless it happens to
unless it happens to you

Tellin’ others how to live
government says just give and give
Arm ’round your shoulder hand in your pocket
forget the future we just hocked it!
That’s America today

We had better change our ways
or you can number out the days
tough time’s comin’ have no doubt
we’re now the land of do without
That’s America today
